Shopping For A Vehicle
How It Works
Park Sell Buy simply rents sellers a spot to sell their vehicle to a private party.
Private Party
Park Sell Buy is a "pop up for sale by owner lot" in your community. We offer the public a safe, convenient, and neutral location to find your next vehicles on weekends. Most of our lots are open Saturdays, and Sundays (rain or shine!). We are not a dealership, so the vehicles you see for sale on our lot are being sold by their owners. We are not a consignment lot, which would add to the sale prices of the vehicle you want. This means sellers can ask a little less for their cars, meaning a better deal for you!

Important Info For Buyers
Buying a Car
For many people, buying a car is one of the most expensive purchases they will make. Because there is no three-day right to cancel a car contract, people should do their homework before buying. To facilitate this process, we have put together “The Car Handbook” with car buying guidelines and references.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) is the state agency that licenses and regulates motor vehicle dealerships in Minnesota. The Department of Public Safety has the authority to take action against a dealership that violates the law when selling vehicles. If you experience a problem with a motor vehicle dealership, you should file a complaint with the Department of Public Safety as follows:
Do We Inspect The Vehicles?
does not inspect or represent the vehicle in any way – all transactions are conducted directly with the private seller. We strongly encourage every buyer to conduct their own due diligence before purchasing a vehicle.
Should I have The Vehicle Inspected?
It's always wise to take a vehicle to a trusted mechanic for an inspection. Remember, older cars with higher mileage are not like new vehicles and often come with minor issues due to their age. A mechanic can assess whether the car is safe to drive and identify any potential problem
Clean Vs Salvage Titles?
Be sure to ask for the title and request a CarFax History Report if the seller has one available
PAYING FOR YOUR VEHICLE?
While most sellers prefer cash, the accepted payment method is ultimately up to them. Some sellers may accept a personal or cashier’s check but may require you to accompany them to the issuing bank to verify the funds.
Do I need a bill of Sale?
A basic vehicle transaction involves you paying the seller, who in return provides you with the keys and a signed title transferring ownership. We also recommend that both parties complete a simple "Bill of Sale."
AFTER THE SALE
Please reach out to the seller directly to resolve any issues. Even something as simple as a signature in the wrong place on the title can delay the transfer process.
